Your responsibility
- Directing and assisting patients and visitors in hospital parking areas and lobbies.
- Providing valet parking services and retrieving vehicles upon departure.
- Assisting patients with mobility challenges using wheelchairs or golf cart escorts.
- Updating wayfinding signage and giving directions for clinic visits.
- Assisting with access to public transportation and rideshare services.
- Performing minor repairs to parking equipment and vehicles.
- Coordinating with Parking Services and Security for parking enforcement.
- Assisting in emergencies by directing vehicles and maintaining traffic control.
- We are maintaining metrics for traffic congestion and planning space efficiency.
- Investigating and reporting accidents within valet parking areas.
- We are ensuring a clean and safe environment at hospital entrances and terraces.
- Shuttles or golf carts are used to transfer patients between health sciences buildings.
- Participating in process improvement for traffic and parking models.
- During emergencies, I will liaise with Security, Campus Police, Emergency Management, and Facilities Engineering (Temp Agency Salt Lake City).
