(Islamabad) The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) is looking for a Director General (MIRAD). IESCO is a top power distribution company in Pakistan serving over 3.80 million customers and making an annual revenue of over Rs. 355 billion. It operates in Islamabad Rawalpindi Attock Jhelum and Chakwal.

The Director General (MIRAD) will lead IESCO in developing a competitive electricity market in Pakistan. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Finance Accounting Law or Management Sciences from a recognized university. A Master’s degree is preferred. They should have at least 15 years of experience with 10 years in the Power Sector.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification	Bachelors or equivalent degree in Engineering/Finance/Accounting/ Law/ Management Sciences from reputable HEC recognized universities. Masters degree will be an added advantage.
Experience	Minimum 15-years of total experience including 10 years of experience in Power Sector. The candidate should possess strong knowledge on the Technical Commercial and Financial matters of the utility business/Power Sector along with Regularity Affairs and Legal/Contractual issues. Knowledge of competitive electricity market will be an added advantage.
Age Limit	Up to 55 years at the time of application
Nature of Employment	The employment shall be on contract for an initial period of Three (03) years extendable on satisfactory performance and need basis
Pay and Allowance	The Position is offered on a market based competitive package
